Infrastructure Canberra (iCBR) is seeking a dynamic leader to drive strategic communications and engagement initiatives that strengthen our role as the Territory’s expert in infrastructure delivery. This senior position leads a small multidisciplinary team to deliver high-impact, audience-focused communications and engagement strategies aligned with government priorities. You will provide expert advice to senior executives, foster trusted relationships across government and industry, and oversee digital tools and processes that support consistent, credible messaging. The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to navigate sensitive environments with sound judgment. Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing strategic communications and engagement plans for a range of clients and topics. Managing internal and external engagement initiatives to build trust and collaboration. Overseeing content development, digital platforms, and stakeholder engagement tools. What we’re looking for: Extensive experience in corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, or public relations. Strong understanding of government environments and governance. Ability to lead teams and deliver under pressure with a commitment to excellence. Relevant tertiary qualifications highly desirable.
