Brighten Someone’s Day as a Happy Hour Trolley Service Volunteer! HammondCare Braeside Hospital—providing rehabilitation, palliative care, and older persons’ mental health services—is looking for a friendly, outgoing volunteer to help bring moments of joy to patients and visitors. In this role, you’ll assist by pushing a refreshments trolley stocked with sweet treats, drinks, and light alcoholic beverages. With a warm smile and a kind word, you’ll help create a welcoming, uplifting atmosphere as you move from room to room. Your presence can spark conversation, lift spirits, and become a highlight in someone’s day. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Requirements Applicants must be aged 18 years and over, HammondCare will organise and pay for a national police check. You will be required to meet NSW Dept of Health Immunisation standards for the category of this role (including HepB, Measles mumps and rubella, Tetanus, influenza or be willing to discuss meeting the requirements). DAY ROLE Monday, Wednesday or Sunday 12pm-1pm, or an AFTERNOON ROLE Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday 4-5pm.
