Job Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for commercial construction projects Review drawings, specifications and scopes to identify risks and opportunities Conduct quantity take-offs and pricing using current market rates and supplier quotes Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing Assist with value engineering and cost planning during tender and pre-construction phases Work closely with project managers to hand over successful tenders Maintain up-to-date cost databases and tender documentation Support variations, cost reporting and post-tender reviews as required Essential Qualifications: Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or relavent industry experience Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools Strong analytical and mathematical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Detail oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Desired Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimation This role suits a detail-focused estimator with local Adelaide market knowledge and experience delivering commercial building projects.
