Principal Structural Engineer / Branch Manager This is a senior leadership role for an experienced structural engineer who wants genuine authority, commercial influence, and the chance to build something of their own within an established and well-respected consulting environment in Sydney. The position suits someone operating at Principal or Associate Director level who is ready to take full ownership of a structural team, drive technical excellence, and lead the Sydney operation with autonomy and trust. Key focus of the role Lead and grow the Sydney structural team, setting technical direction and delivery standards Take full responsibility for branch performance including people, projects, and profitability Act as the senior technical authority on complex commercial and high-rise structures Maintain and grow key client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor at senior level Play a visible leadership role nationally, contributing to strategy and long-term growth Projects and work environment You will be involved in substantial commercial and mixed-use developments, including high-rise structures, complex buildings, and architecturally driven projects.
