About the Job This is an exceptional opportunity to join a market leader in the heavy machinery sector as an Account Manager/BDM (Mining). In this role, you will take ownership of a portfolio of Tier 1 mining companies. The primary focus is managing and expanding existing relationships, ensuring these key clients receive premium service while identifying opportunities to grow our componentry and servicing offerings. With a significant pipeline and the scope to expand into fixed plant sectors, this role offers immense career potential for a driven professional. Key Role Responsibilities Manage and grow a high-value portfolio of Tier 1 mining accounts. Promote premium undercarriage products and specialised componentry services. Identify cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to increase market share. Conduct regular site visits and customer meetings in remote locations. Collaborate with internal operations teams to align inventory with client demand. Drive the expansion of the business into fixed plant mining sectors. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience managing relationships with Tier 1 mining companies. A background working with major OEMs (e.g., Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi) advantageous. Technical or sales expertise specifically within componentry advantageous. Experience in earthmoving or fixed plant mining environments. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to navigate complex corporate structures. A valid C Class Australian driver’s licence and a willingness to travel. Previous exposure to Construction or Earthmoving Machinery in a retail or wholesale environment would be advantageous for this position. Candidates who have experience with brands such as Volvo Construction Equipment, Hitachi, Caterpillar/CAT, Liebherr, Komatsu, Kubota, Bobcat, Case Construction, JCB, Yanmar, Sumitomo or similar are strongly encouraged to apply. On offer is an attractive and negotiable salary package with a base salary of around $150k plus super, bonus and company vehicle/allowance.
