They currently have a position available for a Senior Business Development Manager (Industrial Access) to join the Perth team. We specialize in comprehensive industrial access solutions, including scaffold hire, sales, design, engineering, and on-site labour services. The Role: We are seeking a dynamic Senior Business Development Manager focusing on industrial access solutions including scaffold hire, sales, and labour contracts. Reporting to the General Manager (Industrial Access), you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint in the WA market, targeting mining, oil & gas, infrastructure, and defence clients. This is a field-based role with a defined territory, offering autonomy to build and nurture key relationships while hitting ambitious revenue targets delivering the same high-stakes, customized access solutions that power complex industrial projects. Key Responsibilities: Drive Revenue Growth: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to maximize revenue from facilities, construction sites, and ongoing projects within the Perth/WA territory. Client Relationship Management: Maintain and deepen ties with existing customers and their subsidiaries, acting as the go-to point of contact for scaffold hire, sales, and industrial services. New Business Development: Prospect and qualify leads from current accounts, converting them into long-term partnerships through targeted outreach and solution selling. Cross-Selling Excellence: Collaborate with formwork and specialty teams to bundle offerings, such as the businesses formwork systems and the innovative QuikDeck® for suspended access, to enhance client value. Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends in WA's resources and construction sectors, providing insights to support strategic planning. Reporting & Compliance: Track sales performance, prepare quotes/proposals, and ensure all activities align with the organisations safety and quality standards. Experience Required: 5 years in sales, ideally in scaffolding, industrial access, construction hire, or related fields (e.g., mining/oil & gas equipment). Proven track record in territory management and revenue growth in Perth/WA, with strong negotiation and closing skills. Excellent relationship-building abilities, with experience managing key accounts and cross-selling complex solutions. Knowledge of civil, industrial, defence, oil & gas and commercial sectors; familiarity with WA regulations (e.g., WorkSafe) is a plus. Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, or equivalent preferred; valid driver's license essential.
