Weekend Concierge (Ongoing Casual Position - Saturdays & Sundays, 10am-6pm, Rotating Roster) Rotating Roster with core hours 10am-6pm $39-$46 per hour (overtime rates will apply) Located in outer‑western Sydney suburb. The Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated Concierge to be the face of a busy shopping centre during the weekend. This is an ongoing casual position that requires reliability to meet the needs of the centre and its diverse community of visitors and tenants. As the first point of contact for everyone entering the centre, you will create memorable experiences through warm, personalised service in a fast-paced retail environment. Reporting to the Concierge Manager, you will work alongside a supportive team with access to ongoing development opportunities. Key Responsibilities Customer Service Excellence Welcome all visitors, tenants, contractors and guests with a warm, professional approach that sets the tone for an exceptional experience Provide prompt, courteous and personalised assistance to all enquiries regarding the centre's facilities, retailers, services and events Resolve customer concerns and complaints efficiently and professionally, escalating issues when appropriate Build strong, positive relationships with tenants and regular visitors Support community experiences, events, and giveaways as directed by the marketing team Reception & Administrative Duties Manage the concierge desk as the central hub for all visitor interactions Answer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner, directing calls and taking accurate messages Assist contractors and visiting staff with sign-in procedures as required Centre Operations & Safety Ensure the concierge desk and common areas remain clean and presentation-ready at all times Follow all centre procedures including opening/closing protocols, security processes, guest access, bookings and deliveries About You Essential Requirements 12 months/previous experience in retail/reception/concierge/hospitality-tourism-travel/hotel/entertainment/property management is preferred Ensure a friendly and well-presented appearance that helps create a positive first impression for shoppers Outstanding reliability and consistency - you understand the importance of being dependable in a busy retail environment Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a polished telephone manner Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining composure and professionalism within a customer centric environment Work well independently and within a team Strong organisational skills with excellent time management and attention to detail A genuine passion for people and service Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and priorities Please note - this is for an on-going casual contract on the weekends. This is a Saturday and Sunday rotating roster with core hours of 10am-6pm and potential for later nights.
