Intermediate Estimator - Commercial Fit-Out & Refurbishments Are you an Intermediate-level Estimator with a passion for commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects? Looking to grow in a supportive, high-performing team? We're hiring an Intermediate Estimator to join and work in a team of three, reporting directly to the Senior Estimator. What you'll do: Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects - this will involve a good mix of projects for you to tender including D&C projects, ECI's, Pre-Construction, Capital Works such as lobby upgrades, base building upgrades, EOT & amenities, plant room and equipment overhauls, Retail precinct upgrades, Restoration & Heritage and Remediation projects. Collaborate closely with the Senior Estimator and project teams to review budgets and scope Understanding Construction Drawings & Specifications - Reading & Interpreting architectural, structural, MEP drawings, specifications and technical details to assess scope Quantity Take-Offs & BOQs - Ability to measure and quantify materials, finishes, and components from plans and drawings Track and analyse project costs to ensure accuracy and competitiveness Support tender submissions and contribute to value-engineering solutions on negotiated tenders Understanding client submission requirements and deadlines. What we're looking for: Ideally 3 years estimating experience in commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills Interested to work in a medium-sized business with collaborative team environment Proactive attitude, keen to learn and grow your estimating expertise Ideally a tertiary qualification in construction - Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering or similar preferred Excellent communication skills so you can liaise with stakeholders and subcontractors to put forward the most competitive tenders and bring your exciting tenders to fruition for the business.
