About the Role: Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Loan Processor to join our client’s dynamic and professional team and provide full-cycle support to their brokers. This role involves managing valuations, pricing, pre- and post-submission processes, and delivering exceptional client care. The ideal candidate will have experience with Mercury CRM and a strong understanding of lender policies, helping ensure smooth and efficient loan lodgements from start to finish. Key Responsibilities: Loan Processing Duties: Review and prepare loan applications ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted in line with lender policies. Liaise directly with clients to collect outstanding information, clarify details, and guide them through the process. Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the application process, providing timely updates and addressing queries. Coordinate with brokers, lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely settlements. Conduct final settlement checks ensuring all conditions have been satisfied prior to settlement. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with responsible lending obligations, NCCP, AML/CTF, and company policies. Maintain accurate client records and documentation within CRM and loan processing platforms. Conduct quality control checks to ensure ongoing compliance and loan integrity. High-Volume & Complex Loan Handling: Manage a high volume of loan applications while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Proactively manage complex loan scenarios, working collaboratively with brokers to resolve issues and secure approvals. Requirements: Previous experience in Loan Processing, Credit Assessment or a similar lending support role. Strong understanding of residential, SMSF, investment and or Commercial lending. Familiarity with mortgage broking software and Connective (Mercury) CRM platforms Excellent communication skills with a client-first approach. Strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills. Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple loan files simultaneously. Up-to-date knowledge of lender credit policies and compliance obligations. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail with a focus on loan accuracy and quality. Benefits: Competitive salary package.
