About the role Perth Airport is embarking on an exciting journey of growth and transformation, and we are seeking a highly experienced and creative leader to join our team as Head of Property Projects Delivery . This is a pivotal role responsible for driving the strategic planning and execution of major property development projects across our airport estate, ensuring alignment with our long-term masterplan and organisational priorities. As the Head of Property Projects Delivery, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight across a diverse portfolio of projects, translating organisational strategy into a cohesive capital delivery roadmap. You will lead senior project managers and multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and high performance. Your expertise will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and operational readiness. Lead and Inspire: Provide direction and coaching to senior project managers and teams, building capability and driving a high-performance culture. Strategic Delivery: Translate organisational strategy into clear capital delivery priorities, standards, and work programs. Governance & Assurance: Oversee governance structures, assurance processes, and performance reporting across cost, schedule, scope, and quality. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with regulators, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to align priorities and objectives. Commercial Leadership: Input into procurement strategies, negotiate significant agreements, and ensure contract governance and compliance. Risk & Safety Management: Champion proactive risk culture and embed safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all stages of delivery. Innovation & Sustainability: Drive continuous improvement, digital enablement, and sustainable practices across the property portfolio. About You Postgraduate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline. 10 years’ experience delivering complex property or infrastructure projects valued between $5M–$100M. Proven ability in project controls, including planning, scheduling, cost management, and risk management. Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiation and supplier performance management. Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams. Proficiency in project information systems (e.g., Aconex, MS Project) and Microsoft applications. Ability to balance technical, commercial, and stakeholder requirements under challenging conditions.
