We are seeking an Environmental Science Graduate to join this year’s intake, based in Sydney, NSW. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support ConnectSydney’s Transport Division and gain hands-on experience in environmental management across live Transport for NSW (TfNSW) projects. As part of our team, you will work closely with experienced Environmental Advisors and Leads , developing practical skills in: Conducting environmental inspections and site assurance activities Implementing environmental controls and ensuring compliance with TfNSW specifications, including G36 – Environmental Protection (Construction) Supporting the preparation, review, and implementation of environmental approvals and documentation, such as MWREFs, Step 1 and Step 2 approvals, Environmental Work Method Statements (EWMS), and environmental management plans Assisting with environmental monitoring and testing programs (e.g., noise, vibration, water quality) Contributing to incident and non-conformance investigations and preparing reports for internal and client stakeholders Through structured mentoring and on-the-job learning, you will build a strong foundation in regulatory compliance , environmental risk management , and best-practice environmental performance within major transport infrastructure projects. About you We’re looking for motivated, reliable, and committed graduates. To be eligible, you must: Have completed a Bachelor of Environmental Science (or similar) within the last 3 years at a recognised university. Be available to work full-time from February/March 2026 for the 2-year program duration. Hold a valid driver’s licence.
