About the role This role contributes to the success of the City by providing administrative services and the coordination of Civic events in the Office of the Lord Mayor. Role accountabilities include: Manage the Lord Mayor’s schedule : Arrange meetings, briefings, site visits, accept invitations, and schedule Council engagements. Ensure briefing materials are received and distributed. Provide administrative support: Prepare simple correspondence, agendas, meeting notes, PowerPoint presentations, and other documents. Organise travel arrangements: Handle all travel logistics for the Lord Mayor. Liaise with Elected Members: When representing the Lord Mayor at a range of events. Coordinate Lord Mayor events: Receptions, functions and the annual Town Hall ANZAC Day dignitary morning tea. We are inviting expressions of interest for the role of Executive Assistant and Civic Coordinator. In this position, you will provide administrative support to the Office of the Lord Mayor while coordinating Lord Mayoral events and initiatives. Your exceptional organisational skills , attention to detail , and ability to manage multiple tasks will be key to your success . You will also play a crucial role in fostering community relationships and ensuring the smooth execution of civic programs within the Office of the Lord Mayor. The below are the essentials for the role: Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Management, Public Sector Administration or similar; Experience in the delivery of quality administrative support to a range of stakeholders; and Current valid Driver Licence.
