What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you’ll work across a diverse client base and take ownership of a wide range of bookkeeping and accounting duties, including: Completing day-to-day bookkeeping and reviewing client source data Analysing financial reports and preparing financial acquittals Assisting with preparation of financial statements according to accounting standards Supporting BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, LSL Levy, and other compliance tasks Reconciling bank accounts and preparing AP/AR Processing payroll with accuracy Journals, balance sheet recs, and month-end activities Preparing audit workpapers and responding to audit queries Allocating costs and income across multiple programs Reviewing and validating draft reports Assisting with client relationship management and responding to queries About you: You’re a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You love clean data, accurate numbers, and building strong relationships with clients. You’re independent but also enjoy being part of a supportive team. Your experience and attributes include: 4 years’ bookkeeping or accounting experience Qualification in Accounting or Finance Experience with Xero and MYOB AccountRight Solid payroll processing skills Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (Dr/Cr, P&L, Balance Sheet) Knowledge of GST and tax compliance requirements Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strength in identifying and communicating process improvements Great organisational and time‑management skills A genuine commitment to client service Why Start 2026 With Us?
