Our clients, key players in high-voltage transmission infrastructure, are seeking experienced Transmission Riggers for multiple projects across regional and remote Australia. This is a casual, project-based role offering competitive industry rates along with living-away-from-home allowances and travel compensation. As part of the team, you will be responsible for the assembly, erection, and dismantling of lattice steel transmission towers operating at voltages ranging from 132kV to 500kV. Your expertise will support safe, efficient project delivery across a variety of challenging environments. Key Responsibilities Assemble and erect transmission towers following detailed drawings and lift plans. Perform rigging tasks, including dogging, lifting, and maintaining load control. Work safely at heights utilising fall-arrest systems and appropriate safety equipment. Assist with tower dismantling, modifications, and maintenance as required. Conduct pre-start checks, hazard identification, and participate in toolbox talks. Collaborate closely with lineworkers, supervisors, and crane operators to ensure smooth workflow. Essential Requirements Proven experience in transmission tower assembly on 132kV to 500kV projects. High Risk Work Licence - Intermediate or Advanced Rigging (RI/RA). Working at Heights certification and EWP operation credentials (plus 11m). White Card (Construction Induction), current First Aid and CPR certification. Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening. Demonstrated commitment to safety and effective teamwork. Desirable Qualifications Dogging (DG) licence. Experience on remote or FIFO projects. Telehandler tickets and HR or MR driver's licence. What's On Offer Consistent work on major transmission infrastructure projects across Australia.
