Your Role in our Team As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will lead safe, effective, and motivating group fitness classes, whilst engaging with members and ensuring they feel welcomed and supported in their fitness journey. Deliver high-quality group fitness classes that meet industry best practices Maintain participant attendance levels and respond positively to feedback Collaborate with team members and supervisors to enhance service delivery Provide professional advice on exercise and healthy lifestyles to our valued customers Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for enthusiastic, community-minded fitness professionals who are ready to hit the ground running! To be successful in this role, you’ll need: Essential - Certificate III in Fitness (Group Exercise), Current CPR and First Aid Certificates and a current AusActive registration Desirable - Additional certifications such as Certified Aqua Instructor, Pilates, Yoga, Spin, Dance based formats eg Zumba or other group exercise disciplines Experience in leading group exercise classes, particularly those set to music Great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development If you love working with people, thrive in a team environment, and have a genuine passion for fitness, we’d love to hear from you. Package: Permanent Opportunity: $113,000 (full time equivalent) gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation paid pro rata to part time hours worked (Equates to $57.18 gross per hour) and Casual Opportunity: $71.47 gross per hour plus super. Hours of work: Permanent Part Time - Hours will be determined based on qualifications and classes available. You will have guaranteed hours each week, along with opportunities in teaching more classes to assist with operational needs. Casual - Shifts available depending on the varying operational needs of the Leisure Centres. Applicants must be willing to work hours across a 7 day a week spread, across all 3 Leisure Centres, operating from 5am – 9pm (Monday-Sunday).
