This is a newly created hands-on leadership role where you will drive operational excellence, support recruitment campaigns, and foster a culture of collaboration and service. As the 2IC to the Head of People Operations & Talent, you will lead a large team of 10, drive operational excellence, and contribute towards operational efficiencies. This role also carries responsibility for data insights and process improvement, ensuring HR services are clear, consistent, and effective. You will play a key role in building a sustainable workforce through effective recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management. Key Responsibilities This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has hands-on experience managing a large team of HR Operations in healthcare or similar settings Manage day-to-day operations across HR Shared Services and Talent Acquisition, ensuring seamless delivery of people operations tasks Manage HRIS administration and employee support, acting as an escalation point for payroll and system issues. Liaise with Payroll, Legal, IT, and Clinical teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Support recruitment campaigns by posting jobs, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews with one team ethos. Prepare regular reports on recruitment activity, employee changes, and workforce trends. Supervise and support team members, providing guidance and fostering a high-performance culture. Oversee HR documentation, data management, and system optimisation to improve accuracy and efficiency. About You You are an experienced HR professional who is passionate about people and purpose. You bring: Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR operations and Talent Acquisition leadership within a large, national organisation (healthcare preferred). Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field. Tech-savvy with HRIS experience (Dayforce preferred). Excellent stakeholder management, communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills. Strong understanding of employment legislation, HR systems, and compliance frameworks. Ability to lead and develop a team while driving continuous improvement. A collaborative, proactive style with strong attention to detail and data integrity. Why Join Us?
