Venue Manager About the Role We are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Venue Manager to lead a premium hospitality venue and its leadership team. This role is responsible for the full day to day operation of the venue, with a strong focus on guest experience, team leadership, wine and product excellence, and commercial performance. This position suits a confident, hands on hospitality leader who thrives in fast paced environments, leads from the front, and takes genuine pride in delivering exceptional service. Strong wine knowledge is essential, with the ability to guide guests, build a confident service team, and curate an elevated wine led experience. Key Responsibilities Lead and own the guest experience, ensuring exceptional service standards are delivered consistently Build, coach, and inspire a high performing leadership team and broader venue team Drive a positive, accountable, and engaged team culture Oversee wages, rostering, forecasting, comps, and wastage in line with budgets Manage labour planning and rosters to support both service delivery and commercial outcomes Actively manage guest feedback, resolve issues, and continuously improve the guest journey Ensure venue presentation, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained at all times Lead compliance across RSA, safety, and operational procedures Work closely with senior leadership and other departments to ensure smooth operations Maintain exceptional product knowledge with a strong focus on wine Lead wine service standards, support wine sales, and coach the team to confidently recommend and sell wine What We Are Looking For Proven experience as a Venue Manager or senior hospitality leader in premium dining or high volume venues A hands on leader who sets the standard on the floor and leads by example Strong wine knowledge and passion for wine led service Sound commercial acumen, including labour, cost control, and forecasting Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities Passion for hospitality, food, wine, and creating memorable guest experiences Current RSA Culture and Values This is a venue that values guest focused service, strong team culture, pride in presentation, and an all in approach to hospitality.
