HSE Advisor – FIFO Mining (8/6) We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join a well-established mining operation, supporting site safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across FIFO operations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident working on site, engaging with crews, and driving practical safety outcomes. Reporting to the site leadership team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day HSE support across operations, ensuring compliance with site, legislative, and client safety requirements. Key responsibilities include: Providing on-site HSE advice and support to supervisors and workforce Conducting workplace inspections, audits, and safety interactions Assisting with incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions Supporting risk assessments, JHAs, and safety documentation Promoting a strong safety culture through visible leadership and engagement Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and site HSE systems To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience as an HSE Advisor within mining or heavy industry Strong understanding of WHS legislation and site-based safety systems Proven ability to engage with frontline crews and leadership teams Solid reporting, investigation, and documentation skills Confidence working autonomously on site Requirements Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum) Current Australian Driver’s Licence Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening FIFO experience highly regarded The Offer 8/6 FIFO roster available Competitive hourly rates (based on experience) Long-term opportunity with consistent work Supportive site and safety leadership team If you’re an experienced HSE Advisor looking for your next FIFO opportunity, apply now or reach out for a confidential discussion.
