Utilising your high level of business partnering as a strategic and operational lead, you will leverage and develop recommendations in line with the organisation’s strategic plan on a group-wide basis. Your keen interest in continuous improvement will be key as you will drive the development and improvement initiatives of the health and safety management system. We are seeking a Health and Safety Systems expert who can demonstrate the following. Solid relationship management skills across a broad stakeholder group with your ability to influence and build credibility through collaboration and delivery of major H&S systems projects. Development, implementation, and management of HSE systems and process documentation as per Australian and International Safety Standards, risk management, and industry best practice. Understanding the key drivers and risks associated with site-based processes and systems. Proven experience in successfully servicing multiple stakeholders within a large, high-risk, complex setting. A clear, consultative stakeholder approach, providing coaching, mentoring and guidance enabling all people leaders and site-based teams to drive cultural and behavioural change as second nature. Working in a dynamic and changing environment, including management of competing priorities. To be considered for this position, you will have. Formal qualifications in Health, Safety and Environment, or related discipline (Post graduate qualifications will be highly regarded) Minimum 10 (at least 5-7 years site based) years of demonstrated experience across health, safety and environment in an energy, oil and gas, or related industry across multi-site and international operations Experience working with ISO systems (Lead auditor qualifications will be highly regarded) Appropriate leadership and supervisory experience Demonstrated experience in compliance management and auditing Demonstrated understanding of HSE processes, including Permit to Work, Isolation, Event and Injury Management, Investigations, Contractor Management, Emergency Response, Risk Management, Root Cause Analysis (ICAM or Tap Root preferred) A sound knowledge of legislative requirements and industry best practice Experience implementing new Standards and Procedures in dynamic and high-risk industries.
