Your Key Impact Areas As the HR Coordinator - Generalist, you will orchestrate the people operations of the Centre, touching on every facet of HR: Expert HR Advisory & Coaching: Serve as the go-to specialist, providing guidance and advice to staff and managers on Enterprise Agreements, common law contracts, and policy application. End-to-End Talent Acquisition: Support and administer high-volume recruitment processes, including internal promotions and transfers. Lifecycle Management & Compliance: Seamlessly coordinate HR processes across the employee life cycle, including administration for onboarding and offboarding GEO staff and Alliance Partners/Contractors. Data Integrity & Reporting: Maintain critical HR databases, ensuring accurate record-keeping, generating weekly/monthly reports, and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance. Strategic Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to develop solutions, contribute to continuous improvement, and provide essential support to the Learning & Development Coordinator for mandatory training compliance. Is This You? Your Essential Skills for Success We are looking for a highly organised, discrete, and sharp-minded professional who can navigate a high-volume, highly regulated setting: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, and/or relevant experience in a Generalist HR Coordinator role. Demonstrated experience in administering end-to-end recruitment processes in a high-volume environment. Proven working knowledge and ability to interpret and apply industrial agreements, employment legislation, and HR policies. Working knowledge of payroll and/or rostering principles, with experience managing data within a 24/7 operational roster environment being highly desirable. Exceptional administrative and organisational skills with a high level of accuracy, detail, and proven ability to exercise sound judgement and maintain strict confidentiality in all sensitive HR matters. Strong verbal and written communication skills to build effective working relationships and communicate sensitively with internal and external stakeholders.
