Position title: Project Administrator Position number: 20044756 About the role: An exciting opportunity exists for a VPS3 (1.00 FTE) providing a broad range of administrative and project support to North West Metro Region in Victoria Police. The position is based at the Victoria Police Centre in the CBD. This position includes executive support to the Support Services, Operations Support Services and Specialist Operations Divisions within Northwest Metro Region. Your duties will include: Providing administrative support to three superintendents and other police officers within Support Services Division, Operations Support Division and Specialist Operations Division. Supporting the Project Team with data collection, data monitoring and reporting. Maintain an accurate, up-to-date schedule of the Superintendents calendar's, including meetings, appointments, deadlines and follow-ups. Providing secretariat duties including the preparation of correspondence, minute taking, reports, related data management activities with high attention to detail and other administrative duties as directed Providing general office support duties including the operation and maintenance of office equipment. Stakeholder engagement and sharing information across the three service delivery sites. Preparation of material using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Attend to telephone and counter enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders. As the successful applicant, you will have: Demonstrated initiative and organisational skills, and the ability to provide reliable and high-quality project support. Well-developed analytical and conceptual competencies including the ability to interrogate data sets. An intermediate level of data literacy including advanced MS Office and computing skills, specifically in the use of Excel. High level of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and demonstration of respectful relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to write and present information in a concise and accurate manner. An understanding of how to work in a team environment and build effective partnerships. Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of clients both orally and in writing. Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and adhere to strict timelines. Requirements and relevant information: One full time, ongoing position. Your usual place of work will be at Victoria Police Centre located at Level 13, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands. While this position will have a nominated usual place of work, the position may be required to work at other locations, in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Victorian Public Service Agreement.
