Utilise your accounting expertise to provide support and advice to the Safety Wellbeing and Compliance branch A fixed-term, full-time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service until 30th June 2027 VPS Grade 3: $79,122 - $96,073 plus superannuation. About the Business Unit: People, Safety, Culture and Communications' core functions span the breadth of workplace cultural and people matters, including human resource policy and strategy; organisational culture and change; recruitment, redeployment and retention; performance and development; pay, benefits and workforce reporting; occupational health and safety management; and employment regulations. About the Role: The WorkCover Payroll Administration Officer sits within Safety, Wellbeing and Compliance, a branch within the Department of Justice and Community Safety's People, Safety, Culture and Communications unit. Some of your duties will include: Undertaking WorkCover claim administration and calculation of weekly WorkCover payments Processing all relevant WorkCover payments, including weekly and “Top Up” payments in CHRIS21 Entering and maintaining relevant leave records in CHRIS21 / Time Target. About You: As our ideal candidate, you will possess: Experience in using the use of payroll systems CHRIS21, including Time Target, is strongly desired Experience in processing workers compensation payments is strongly desired.
