Paediatric - Adult Registered Nurse (Dual Role) Part-time (0.8 FTE) or Full Time Cabrini Malvern The Department The Cabrini Children’s Centre provides a warm, vibrant and welcoming environment for our young patients, featuring colourful and innovative décor designed to ease anxiety and support a positive hospital experience. The unit caters for most paediatric specialties, excluding Neurosurgery, Oncology and Cardiology. In addition to paediatric care, this dual-role position supports the delivery of high-quality nursing care to both paediatric and adult patient cohorts , requiring flexibility and adaptability across age groups. Our patients are primarily admitted for elective surgery or via the Emergency Department. Nurses within the Centre are highly skilled, with experience across paediatric and adult settings. Students and graduate nurses also rotate through the Centre, contributing to a dynamic and learning-focused environment. The Role We are seeking an experienced Paediatric - Adult Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional, family-centred and patient-centred care within the framework of the Cabrini Mission and Values. This role is suited to nurses with both paediatric and adult nursing experience , who are confident and flexible in caring for young patients as well as older patient cohorts . You will provide nursing care to medical and surgical patients, including day procedures and longer-term inpatient admissions. You will join a highly experienced, collaborative team committed to continuous improvement and ensuring a positive experience for all patients and their families.
