Description We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Services Supervisor to join our Government & Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality building maintenance services across the Contract. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll help ensure essential services run smoothly and meet the highest standards. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Oversee building and maintenance works performed by subcontractors, ensuring compliance with technical and quality specifications. Conduct site inspections, validate invoices, and manage corrective actions for non-conformances. Act as Downer’s subject matter expert on building maintenance activities, representing us at client and stakeholder meetings. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic contract performance. Champion safety by adhering to Downer’s “Zero Harm” principles and HSE policies. What You’ll Bring Mandatory: Registered Building Practitioner under the Building Services (Registration) Act 2011 (WA). Proven experience in the building and construction industry, with strong knowledge of planning and scheduling procedures. Ability to supervise subcontractors and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Current builder’s registration, a valid licence, and your own vehicle. Strong communication skills, initiative, and a collaborative mindset to foster positive relationships.
