About the Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Scrub/Scout Registered Nurse to join their highly regarded Perioperative Services team . This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent full-time position within a leading private hospital known for clinical excellence, advanced facilities, and a supportive, team-focused culture. The operating theatre complex comprises seven operating theatres (including a Hybrid Vascular Theatre), a Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, three Procedure Rooms, and a fully equipped Central Sterilising Supply Department (CSSD). The department supports a broad and diverse surgical caseloads. As a Scrub/Scout RN, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care, working collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Skills and Experience Essential Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Minimum 2 years' post-graduate experience as a Scrub/Scout RN Demonstrated knowledge of perioperative standards, infection control, and sterile technique Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced theatre environment Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining annual competencies Flexibility to work across a rotating roster Desirable Experience within the private hospital sector Exposure to a broad range of surgical specialties Participation in quality improvement or clinical governance initiatives Benefits Access to ongoing education, training, and career development Generous salary based on experience and qualifications Salary packaging options to maximise take-home pay: Not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 p.a.
