The Opportunity We’re seeking a Customer Banking Consultant at our Mackay branch to be the first point of contact for our customers and help them navigate their banking needs. You’ll deliver high-quality, efficient service, actively identify customer needs, and connect them with the right banking solutions. This role is key in creating a seamless and exceptional customer experience while contributing to the growth and success of our branch. Your Impact Deliver superior customer service by processing transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, account openings, and closures. Act as the voice of the customer, championing improvements in our services and processes. Identify customer needs and refer them to specialist services where appropriate. Maintain compliance with Auswide Bank’s policies, procedures, and legislative requirements. Actively contribute to achieving individual and team targets through sales and service excellence. Support onboarding of new customers and assist team members as required. Promote digital banking solutions such as ATMs, internet banking, and other alternative channels. Resolve customer concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary. What You Bring Experience in retail or financial services with a strong customer service focus. Knowledge of retail banking products and customer needs is desirable. Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills. Ability to use multiple computer systems effectively. Proven ability to meet performance objectives and contribute to team goals. Adaptability to different customer situations with a solution-focused mindset.
