The Role They are seeking a full time Retail Pharmacist to join their team. This is for a full-time position at an annual salary between $105,000 to $110,000 plus superannuation. The Responsibilities Preparing and checking medication prescribed to the patient Identifying potential interactions between drugs and providing information to the patient Ordering stock and ensuring that it is kept in appropriate conditions Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all medication processed through the pharmacy Knowledge of extemporaneous compounding Preparation Offering advice on dosages, side effects and other aspects of drug interaction Delivering community healthcare services such as prescription collection and delivery Offering screening programmes for common ailments such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol Training staff including overseeing Trainee Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants Working with the pharmaceutical staff to maintain a clean, customer-friendly workplace The requirements Bachelor degree qualifications in Pharmacy Unrestricted AHPRA registration At least 4 years' experience in fulfilling similar responsibility in a commercial pharmacy setting At least 4 years of proficiency in pharmacy dispensing software and point-of-sale (POS) systems At least 4 years of experience in providing customer service and pharmaceutical counselling At least 4 years' experience in pharmacovigilance in monitoring and managing adverse drug reactions Attention to detail and precision in record keeping Demonstrated experience working in fast paced environment The ability to prioritise workload and adapting to change in work requirements Good interpersonal skills
