The Role The Tractor Operator role is based in Dirranbandi, Queensland. It is Grain and Broadacre agriculture industry, working on a large-scale harvest operation in Dirranbandi, Queensland. You'll be part of a practical, experienced harvest team working outdoors in a fast-paced, seasonal environment where safety, communication, and reliability are essential. As a Tractor Operator, you will operate tractors and chaser bins during harvest, supporting efficient grain handling from paddock to storage or transport. Key Responsibilities This role supports harvest operations by ensuring grain is moved safely and efficiently while maintaining equipment and site safety standards. Operate tractors and chaser bins safely during harvest Receive grain on-the-go from harvesters and transport to trucks or storage Monitor grain quality and report contamination or issues Communicate clearly with harvesters, truck drivers, and team members Perform daily pre-start checks on machinery Clean and maintain equipment to reduce fire and contamination risks Follow farm safety procedures, including fatigue and fire management Assist with general harvest tasks as required Benefits $35.00 per hour.
