East Gymnastics (powered by The Y) has a fabulous team of qualified coaches who are all passionate about gymnastics, coaching, children and creating a fun. Between us we have vast experience in gymnastics (of course), dance, acrobatics, ballet, circus, movement development, aerials and trampolining. All coaches have passed their NSW Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR and do regular Safeguarding training. About the Role As a Senior Gymnastics Coach, you’ll play a pivotal role in planning, delivering, and evaluating high-quality gymnastics programs. You’ll support and develop our coaching team, ensure the safety and progression of all students, and help drive the ongoing growth and success of our gymnastics programs. What You’ll Do Deliver engaging, progressive gymnastics lessons for students of all levels Mentor and support a team of coaches, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration Ensure all programs are safe, inclusive, and aligned with industry and YMCA NSW standards Liaise with students, families, and staff to create a welcoming and supportive environment Assist the Gymnastics Coordinator with program management, administration, and resource planning Promote gymnastics programs and events, driving participation and community engagement Uphold YMCA NSW’s commitment to safeguarding children and young people What You’ll Bring Essential: Advanced Gymnastics Coach Accreditation Current First Aid and CPR certificates Gymnastics Australia Online Supervisor Training Course Coach affiliation/Technical Membership Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills A passion for developing others and a commitment to child safety Desirable: Diploma or Degree in Sports Management, Sports Administration, or related field Experience in program administration and staff management Who What Y?
