We have multiple exciting opportunities for experienced Wireline Crew Chiefs to join our team at Condor Energy Services for a long-term project in February 2026. We are seeking experienced Wireline Crew Chiefs based locally in Queensland to support our growing Operations team across Australia. This is a hands-on leadership role for an operator who enjoys being on the tools while leading crews at the wellsite and working closely with Wireline Engineers and clients to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality wireline operations. As an E-Line / Wireline Senior Operator, you will: Lead and execute E-line / wireline operations at the wellsite • Supervise and support wireline crew members during all phases of operations • Ensure all activities comply with Condor HSE policies, company procedures, and client standards • Conduct toolbox talks, pre-job safety meetings, and JSAs • Oversee rig-up, rig-down, pressure testing, and function testing of wireline units and PCE • Monitor job execution, identify risks, and resolve operational issues in real time • Ensure correct handling, storage, and accountability of explosives and detonating systems (where applicable) • Verify equipment readiness, inspections, certifications, and maintenance status • Coordinate with the Wireline Engineer, client representatives, and third-party service providers on site • Mentor junior operators and promote best operational practices About you A successful candidate will have: Extensive hands-on experience in E-line / wireline operations • Proven experience in a senior field role such as Senior Operator or Lead Operator • Strong working knowledge of wireline units, downhole tools, explosives systems, and PCE • Demonstrated leadership and confident decision-making in field operations • Hold relevant wellsite licences and tickets (including but not limited to IWCF, EWP, Dogging, Working at Heights, MC, First Aid, explosives permits where applicable) • Ability to work rotational rosters and in remote environments What’s in it for you?
