Picton location Permanent Full-Time Salary commencing from $2,011.50 per week 12% Superannuation Leaseback Motor Vehicle 38-hour week with fortnightly RDO About the opportunity: A rare opportunity has arisen within Council’s Infrastructure Operations Team for an experienced Construction and Maintenance Coordinator. With the primary purpose of the role being to deliver a safer community, you will provide strong leadership to operational teams undertaking the construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure as part of Council’s works programs. This position requires a committed and capable people leader who can motivate, support, and develop teams while maintaining a clear focus on safety, performance, and the successful delivery of works. Your ability to lead people, drive outcomes and foster a positive, accountable team culture will be critical to success in this role. To succeed in this position, you will meet the following criteria: Diploma or advanced Diploma level qualification in Civil or equivalent. Minimum five (5) years relevant experience in civil/road construction and maintenance. Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and manage performance as required. Demonstrated ability to supervise Contractors. Ability to complete ongoing complex planning, which may take place weeks in advance, to ensure projects are effectively coordinated. Demonstrated ability to liaise and communicate effectively with internal and external customers, in written and oral forms which may involve complexity.
