About the Role The Head of Marketing, Communications & Engagement leads the development and delivery of clear, engaging and participant focused communication across United for Care and externally to the Sector. Working closely with the Executive Team, leaders, service delivery and project teams, the role provides strategic guidance and hands-on delivery across external campaigns, participant communications, business change, and cultural initiatives. It brings together strategy and execution, from leadership messaging and organisational updates to digital marketing, social content, and recognition programs, to strengthen trust, build connection and showcase United for Care’s purpose. The role ensures communication is not only aligned with business priorities, but also feels human, practical, and real to attract participants while supporting both our people and the communities we serve. Over time, this position is expected to take on 2 direct people management responsibilities, providing leadership and development for a small communications and marketing team. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced, growth-oriented business, and a key part of our senior leadership team. Drive brand storytelling through campaigns, digital content, social media, and participant communications. Oversee creation of campaign and brand materials — from brochures and videos to websites and event collateral. Lead digital marketing, including social media, email campaigns, and online advertising. Manage agencies supporting SEO, Google Adwords and Bing. Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and media. Develop, organise and promote events, workshops and campaigns that showcase services and engage the NDIS community. Manage intranet, newsletters, HubSpot campaigns and digital platforms for impact and engagement. Monitor and report on campaign performance, using data and insights to drivecontinuous improvement. Lead internal communication strategy, ensuring clear, consistent messaging that builds trust and connection. Support leaders with communication during organisational change, service updates, and workforce transitions. Oversee organisational-wide projects, ensuring communication and engagement is clear and consistent. Provide guidance, coaching and support to colleagues, building capability and encouraging high-level performance. About You At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced environment. Degree in Marketing or extensive experience in similar field. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with an adaptable communication style. Deep experience in communications and both customer and employee engagement. Exceptional organisational and time management skills with ability to juggle several campaigns at one time. A passion for creativity and driving internal and external campaigns.
