About the Role The Senior Cybersecurity Behaviour and Awareness Analyst is responsible for leading, designing and delivering initiatives that drive secure behaviours and build a strong cybersecurity culture across the organisation. This role translates strategic goals into practical activities, measures their effectiveness, and helps mature the organisation’s human‑centric security defences. Operating at a specialist level, the role combines communications, stakeholder engagement, behavioural science, and cyber expertise to educate employees, influence behaviour change, and reduce human risk. As a trusted advisor within the cybersecurity team, the role contributes in translating complex cyber risks into clear, accessible messages that resonate with diverse audiences. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and expertise, contributing significantly to the organisation’s cyber maturity. The role influences behaviour change at scale, owns critical components of the awareness program, supports enterprise‑wide security objectives, leads key awareness initiatives, and may mentor junior team members. Duties Lead the design, development and delivery of innovative and engaging cybersecurity awareness campaigns and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational risk priorities, compliance requirements and strategic objectives. Develop and deliver tailored training and awareness programmes to high‑risk user groups, informed by behavioural insights, data and risk assessments. Develop, execute and maintain high‑quality accessible awareness content across icare communications channels (e.g., intranet articles, e‑learning modules, videos, workshops and presentations) that translates complex technical concepts into simple, actionable guidance for all employees. Plan and execute periodic awareness campaigns, events and activities (e.g., Cyber Security Awareness Month), ensuring high visibility and engagement across the organisation. Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to support maturing the knowledge of cyber policies, standards and procedures and help embed these across the organisation. Partner with internal stakeholders across technology, HR, learning, internal communications, and business units to embed secure behaviours into day‑to‑day practices, processes and ensure consistent, effective messaging. Contribute to the development of the cybersecurity culture and awareness programme and its maturity objectives. Lead the operational delivery of the phishing simulation programme, including scheduling, execution, analysis of results and follow‑up education activities to uplift staff capability and reduce susceptibility to social engineering threats. Contribute to cyber risk reporting, metrics, and dashboards providing actionable insights to senior leaders and executive risk committees. Measure and report on the effectiveness of the cybersecurity culture and awareness programme through KPIs, behavioural and engagement metrics, cultural impact, and surveys, and provide actionable insights to leadership to inform strategic adjustments. Monitor emerging cybersecurity trends, industry risks and threat intelligence to strengthen icare’s cyber posture and promote risk‑informed decision‑making. Stay current with best practices around behavioural change methodologies, learning, development and education techniques as they pertain to cyber security. Support organisational responses to emerging cyber threats by rapidly developing targeted awareness materials as needed. Support continuous improvement initiatives that uplift cybersecurity capability, maturity, and awareness practices. Provide mentoring and guidance to junior cyber security analysts and contribute to building internal capability across the function.
