Industrial Spray Painter Sun Engineering is seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Spray Painter to join our team at our Carole Park facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced painter looking for stable, long-term work with a respected engineering company. About the Role: As an Industrial Spray Painter, your responsibilities will include: • Performing high-quality industrial spray painting • Completing surface preparation and sandblasting as required • Applying 3-coat paint systems (primer, intermediate & top coat) • Ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and schedule requirements • Carrying out basic QA checks and maintaining clean, organised work areas Key Skills & Experience: • Experience in industrial spray painting • Competency with 3-coat painting systems • Ability to check blast profiles • Knowledge of monitoring environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, etc.) • Understanding of QA processes – including visual inspection and documentation Highly Regarded (but not essential): • Coating Inspection Ticket • NACE Certification • Forklift Licence What We Offer: • Stable employment with an established engineering company • Great team environment focused on safety and quality • Opportunities for skill development and career progression Pay Rates S3 – $39.25 per hour Painter/Blaster who holds a relevant trade certificate and/or Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Surface Finishing) , or an equivalent qualification. S6 – $34.48 per hour Painter/Blaster who is primarily required to perform painting and abrasive blasting duties, can demonstrate reasonable skill and experience, but does not hold a trade certificate in abrasive blasting.
