The Role An opportunity has become available for several Aged Care Assessor (Allied Health) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will Function as a non-delegate assessor of Aged Care Assessment Team according to guidelines Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of discipline specific services Actively participate in professional development opportunities Apply clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under clinical practice supervision About you To be successful in this position you will require: Tertiary degree in AHPRA Registration Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Driver Licence Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Benefits Flexible work options Career Development Salary Packaging Modern Facilities Diverse Work Culture Research Opportunities 12.75% super 17.5% leave loading Salary Temporary full time (Several positions, up to 30.06.2026 with the possibility for extension) Base salary ranging from $3 030.00 - $4 453.50 per fortnight About Us Multidisciplinary Aged Care Assessment Teams (ACAT) have been established throughout Australia by the Australian Government to deliver comprehensive assessment and care coordination for frail older people to assist them to gain access to the most appropriate care.
