We are looking for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Officer to join the QBE on-site security team . This is a key front-facing role where you will help create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for QBE staff, visitors, and contractors. As a representative of QBE Protective Security , you will demonstrate high standards of professionalism, vigilance, and communication while working within a corporate environment during standard business hours. About the Role In this Level 4 casual position, you will be responsible for maintaining site security and supporting day-to-day corporate operations, including front-of-house duties and access control. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily site checks and patrols to ensure all access points and perimeters are secure Maintain accurate records, including daily logs and incident reports, within the QBE reporting system Provide a professional and approachable security presence at the front desk Issue and manage temporary and contractor access cards, supporting the Card Services team with programming Escort authorised visitors and contractors throughout the premises Liaise with facilities teams, base building management, and contractors regarding maintenance and site works Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies in line with QBE procedures Identify, report, and assist in mitigating WH&S risks Promote compliance with security procedures and ID requirements Support emergency responses and evacuations as directed by QBE management Communicate effectively with key stakeholders and the QBE Protective Security team About You To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong customer service mindset and a proactive approach to security.
