Purpose Based at our world-class Truganina Omni-Fulfilment Centre, this role is ideal for a trade-qualified facilities or maintenance professional who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes real pride in preventative maintenance, safety, and keeping things running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day condition, safety and reliability of the site, with a strong focus on planned maintenance, early issue detection, contractor coordination and continuous improvement across the facility. This is a practical, on-the-ground role, based on site Monday to Friday. What You’ll Be Doing Preventative Maintenance & Site Reliability Own and drive the preventative maintenance program across the warehouse, plant, and equipment. Carry out regular inspections to identify wear, damage or potential failures before they cause downtime. Ensure building services, fixtures, and infrastructure are maintained to a high standard. Minimise operational disruption by proactively planning and scheduling maintenance works. Safety, Compliance & Best Practice Work closely with Team Members and Management to ensure safe work practices are followed at all times. Identify hazards early and take corrective action to support a zero LTI / MTI environment. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with WHS requirements, site procedures and industry standards. MHE & Equipment Oversight Conduct regular checks of MHE and wheeled equipment, ensuring defects are logged, communicated and rectified promptly. Work with operations leaders to coordinate repairs and maintenance without impacting throughput. Support safe and compliant MHE usage across the site. Work on Schafer automation systems onsite Contractor & Security Management Coordinate and supervise external contractors on site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to standard. Manage contractor inductions, permits and compliance requirements. Oversee facility security systems including access control, CCTV, alarms and perimeter security. What We’re Looking For Trade qualification (Fitter and Turner, Electrical, Mechanical, Building, or similar). Proven experience in facilities or maintenance roles within a warehouse, DC or industrial environment. Strong preventative maintenance mindset — you fix problems before they stop operations. Confident coordinating contractors and working alongside operations teams. Practical, solutions-focused and comfortable being hands-on when needed. Why work for CRG?
