About the role: The Procurement Manager is responsible for coordinating and enhancing a national centralised procurement function across Monash IVF Group. You will proactively review and manage supplier performance to ensure quality, reliability, and value, while mitigating associated risks. A key focus includes assessing opportunities for vendor consolidation to leverage scale pricing benefits, maintaining competitive tension in key supply contracts, and managing vendor diversity risks. The role also supports the integration of company ESG guidelines into procurement processes and contributes to the annual budget process by collaborating with stakeholders to identify procurement needs and opportunities, including capital equipment investments. What you’ll be doing: Negotiating service level agreements Establishing best practice procurement processes and policies Developing sourcing strategies to achieve procurement aims (quality, reliability, economy, reduced risk) Ongoing assessment of market for emerging contenders for consideration of stakeholders Coordinating with all stakeholders on procurement issues including requirements, introduction and management of vendors Establishing and maintain professional relationships with vendors including correcting sub-standard performance Collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure all products meet quality and scientific standards or guidelines Ideally you will bring the role: Under-graduate degree qualification in business, commerce, economics or management (essential) Professional or post graduate qualifications in business, supply or procurement (preferred) Extensive knowledge of the supply chain function in the Australian Healthcare Industry Expert negotiation and influencing skills Ability to work well with multi-disciplinary teams Experience in multi-site procurement demands involving metro and rural areas A disciplined approach to project management Outcome focussed An advanced level of time management and issue tracking Able to communicate at all levels, including preparation of Board papers and presenting to the Board Knowledge of quality systems in a Healthcare setting Understanding of scientific and health protocols Expertise in contract management Ability to follow through on complaints or issues raised internally and externally Provision of expert advice for all internal staff enquiries relating to all procurement matters Knowledge of the role of automation and AI technology to procurement function Why work with us?
