The technical challenge: taking manufacturing processes from concept through to operational scale within controlled cleanroom environments. Your projects will translate directly into increased production capacity and improved manufacturing capability for Australia's clean energy sector. Your Responsibility Project ownership from scoping through commissioning. Manage budgets and schedules, coordinate across production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams, and engage equipment suppliers and contractors. Support design reviews, develop equipment specifications, oversee installations and commissioning, and ensure safe handover to operations. You will work within cleanroom facilities, review layouts with operators, resolve commissioning challenges with vendors, and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and production capacity. This is hands-on project engineering in a controlled manufacturing environment. What's Required 5-10 years delivering capital projects in manufacturing, processing, or industrial environments. Proven capability managing projects from concept through commissioning and handover. Strong stakeholder management across production, engineering, quality, and external suppliers. Technical fluency with P&IDs, equipment specifications, layout drawings, and commissioning documentation. Solid project discipline: schedule management, budget tracking, risk management, documentation control. Practical problem-solving mindset with on-the-ground approach. Experience in cleanroom environments, battery production, electrolyser systems, chemical processing, or semiconductor manufacturing is highly regarded.
