A well established and reputable national business in the manufacturing / construction supply sector is looking to engage a commercially astute National Account Manager. This position plays a critical role in managing and growing several high-value national accounts that sit at the core of the organisation's success. The ideal candidate brings more than traditional account management capability - we are seeking someone with the commercial strength, executive presence and relationship sophistication to operate confidently with senior stakeholders and drive outcomes in a complex, fast-paced environment. The Opportunity You will be responsible for the strategic oversight, retention and growth of major national customer partnerships. This involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure commercial performance, service excellence and long-term value creation. This role requires a blend of operational understanding, strong financial acumen and the ability to navigate high-level conversations with confidence and credibility. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of high-value national accounts with a focus on long-term strategic partnership Lead contract discussions, commercial negotiations and performance reviews Develop account plans, growth strategies and retention frameworks Build strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs Analyse data, trends and performance metrics to identify commercial opportunities Respond to escalations with professionalism and urgency, ensuring seamless issue resolution Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver on customer commitments Prepare reports, commercial proposals and strategic insights for leadership About You You will bring a track record of success in managing major accounts, ideally at a national level. You are confident engaging at senior levels and can balance relationship management with strong commercial discipline.
