About the role: Juniper is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Casual Registered Nurse to join the team at Juniper Sarah Hardy, located in Kelmscott. As a Registered Nurse with Juniper Sarah Hardy, you will be responsible for assessing residents’ clinical needs in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, and for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of residents’ care plans to ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care. You will play an important role in mentoring and supervising care staff and supporting required AN-ACC assessments. We are seeking a passionate RN who is flexible and able to assist with unplanned leave, contributing to continuity of care for residents. This is a casual opportunity, with successful candidates expected to be flexible and available to pick up a minimum of three shifts per week, subject to service requirements. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and respond appropriately to changes in residents’ condition in consultation with the broader healthcare team Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans in partnership with residents and their families Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and supervision to care staff Liaise with GPs, allied health professionals, and other external providers to ensure continuity of care Complete and contribute to AN-ACC and other required clinical assessments Ensure compliance with organisational policies, professional standards, and Aged Care Quality Standards Key Requirements: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an aged care setting Strong clinical assessment, planning, and coordination skills Ability to guide staff in wound care and diabetes management Sound understanding of medication administration and medication management systems Excellent communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Flexibility to support unplanned leave and varied shift requirements What’s on offer: Attractive casual remuneration, plus casual loading.
