They have an exciting opportunity for an experience Team Leader to run a small team on project sites! The Pallet Racking install team plays a crucial role in setting up storage systems within warehouses and commercial spaces. Their responsibilities encompass various tasks to ensure efficient and safe storage solutions. Environment & Remuneration: Fast-paced production environment Salary neg depending on experience Forklift License preferred but not essential 5 day week from 6.30am to 4.00pm and availability to work overtime when required Key Responsibilities: Material Handling and Preparation Unload and organize racking components such as frames, beams, and accessories at the job site. Transport materials from storage areas to the installation location. Gather necessary tools and fasteners required for assembly. Blueprint Interpretation and Layout Planning Review project blueprints and specifications to determine the layout and dimensions of the racking system. Measure and mark guidelines to ensure accurate placement and alignment. Assembly and Installation Assemble racking components using hand and power tools, ensuring secure connections. Install the racking system according to the specified layout, adhering to safety standards. Torque bolts and fasteners to the manufacturer's recommended specifications. Quality Control and Safety Compliance Conduct spot checks during and after installation to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety regulations. Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors for resolution. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents. Collaboration and Communication Work closely with foremen and other team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines. Communicate effectively to address any challenges or changes in the project scope. The main role will be servicing the repairs team getting existing racking back in order. Forklift licence and/or EWP would be considered highly advantageous. Representing the company you will be the face of the company onsite and must present a high standard!
