We’re looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to act as the operational leader for engineering delivery within our Product Engineering team. In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of business and engineering, managing delivery flow, governance, and predictability across multiple teams. You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across Product and Support to ensure work intake meets quality standards, capacity is managed responsibly, and timelines are negotiated using clear, data-driven insights. What you’ll be doing: Act as the key interface between business stakeholders and engineering teams, aligning expectations and priorities. Enforce quality standards for work intake, ensuring teams receive clear, feasible, and well-scoped requirements. Manage capacity and delivery flow through governance checkpoints to maintain sustainable workloads. Conduct early feasibility assessments for new work requests, identifying capacity constraints and technical risks. Lead estimation, refinement, and planning activities, ensuring assumptions and confidence levels are clear. Use data and delivery metrics to monitor health, report on predictability, and support timeline or scope negotiations. Identify & predict delivery risks, analyse variances, and drive continuous improvement across delivery practices. Remove organisational impediments and escalate systemic issues with supporting data. What you’ll bring: Strong experience across the software delivery lifecycle in Agile environments. Proven ability to manage flow and enforce standards while maintaining collaborative relationships. Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills for managing competing priorities and constraints. Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends and make data-informed recommendations. A solid technical foundation to understand engineering constraints and assess feasibility. Skilled at balancing business urgency with team capacity and delivery quality.
