Searson Buck is seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist to join the Launceston branch of a well established business within the construction equipment industry. This is a long-term temporary opportunity supporting the service division. Based at their Western Junction office, you will be the first point of contact for customers, visitors and suppliers, playing a key role in keeping the office running smoothly. About the role: Front desk reception, greeting clients and answering incoming calls Booking equipment services and coordinating schedules Liaising with clients and technicians and relaying information as required Raising purchase orders for parts Managing petty cash Closing off invoices Providing general administrative support to the service team About you: Previous experience in reception or administration, ideally in a service based environment Strong communication skills and a professional, welcoming manner Confident with systems, data entry and basic financial administration Well organised with strong attention to detail Reliable, proactive and comfortable working in a busy environment Hours and conditions: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm with one hour for lunch Clerks Award Level 2, Year 1 This role would suit someone looking for a solid temporary opportunity in a hands on, customer facing environment, with scope to extend depending on business needs.
