Green by Nature is seeking a Small Engine Mechnic- Turf & Grounds Equipment to maintain and repair turf, mowing and small-plant machinery in our Brisbane workshop. This is a full-time Monday–Friday position with early starts and finishes, a supplied vehicle, PPE, uniform and tools — giving you everything you need to perform at your best. This role suits mechanics who enjoy variety, autonomy and hands-on problem solving, and who want predictable hours without weekend work. What You’ll Work On Cylinder mowers, ride-ons and turf equipment Tractors, sprayers and utility vehicles Small-plant equipment: blowers, trimmers, chainsaws Light vehicle servicing Mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical diagnostics Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Preventative servicing and repairs across a varied fleet Diagnosing faults across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems Conducting mobile/onsite repairs when required Keeping accurate service records, parts usage and workshop housekeeping Ensuring safe work practices and WHS compliance Supporting field crews with reliable, ready-to-use machinery What You Bring Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent hands-on experience Diagnostic capability across petrol, diesel, hydraulic electrical systems Strong problem solving and practical judgement Manual driver’s licence (towing ability an advantage) White Card (or willingness to obtain) Pride in delivering safe, high-quality work Why Mechanics Choose This Role Monday–Friday roster with early starts and early finishes Tools, PPE, uniform and vehicle supplied Varied machinery and tasks — no repetitive servicing Clean, organised workshop and supportive team Opportunities to grow your technical skills Stable employment with a national green-space organisation Relocation-friendly for interstate applicants How To Apply Apply with your resume outlining your mechanical or small-engine background.
