About your role: Utilise high level professional and clinical knowledge, expertise and clinical decision making to enhance safe and efficient service delivery (including clinical responsibilities and case management) on a daily basis, across the continuum of care. Provide clinical practice supervision, education, and mentoring of less experienced Occupational Therapists, Clinical Assistants, support staff and students within scope of practice guidelines to ensure the development and maintenance of professional clinical standards. Support individual development processes of less experienced staff, as directed by the Team Leader of Transition Care. Utilisation of high-level negotiation and communication skills, including submissions and reports as requested by the Team Leader, effective liaison with clients and their families and relevant stakeholders and proactively developing self, including maintaining contemporary knowledge of the profession, management and organisational strategies.
