About The Role We’re delivering a major upgrade to the Charmhaven Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant on the NSW Central Coast—a complex brownfield project with live operational interfaces and significant environmental considerations. As our Environmental Coordinator, you’ll champion sustainability and compliance, ensuring environmental best practice across all phases of the project. You’ll work closely with project managers, subcontractors and stakeholders to protect ecosystems, manage approvals and embed innovation. What You’ll Do Develop and implement Project Environmental Management Plans and ensure compliance with legislation, approvals and client specifications. Monitor and manage environmental aspects and impacts on site, including water quality, erosion and sediment control, waste and contaminated land. Lead audits, inspections and environmental monitoring programs; drive corrective actions and continual improvement. Provide technical advice to project teams and contribute to risk workshops, tenders and sustainability initiatives. Champion environmental culture through training, engagement and proactive communication. Support incident investigations and maintain accurate reporting in line with regulatory requirements. About You Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline. 3–4 years’ experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects (water sector highly regarded). Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, approvals and compliance frameworks. Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels. Experience with contaminated site management desirable. Self-starter with initiative and ability to work autonomously.
