The Role: Based in Tennyson, as the Maintenance Fitter, you'll be responsible for: Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment Responding to unplanned breakdowns to minimise downtime Supporting production teams by ensuring equipment reliability and plant availability Identifying and implementing opportunities for performance improvements Driving site safety, hygiene, and compliance standards What We're Looking For: A trade qualification in mechanical engineering (or relevant discipline) Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance fitter role within food manufacturing (milling experience highly regarded) Sound knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills The ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team Excellent communication and time management skills You'll also bring: A safety-first mindset A desire to contribute to process improvements and operational excellence Experience working within GMP and HACCP environments If you're a mechanically-minded problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced production setting, we'd love to hear from you.
