We are seeking for an Experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy, well-organised onion farm in Moriarty, Tasmania , which is close to Devonport. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys consistent work, clear procedures, and being part of a safety-focused, supportive team. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail are valued. Key Responsibilities This role supports safe and efficient daily operations by ensuring materials and inventory are handled accurately and in line with workplace procedures. Safely operate and maintain forklifts, including pre-start and end-of-shift checks, refuelling or recharging, and correct operating practices Handle and manage inventory accurately, including labelling, record-keeping, and general material movement Identify, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and unsafe practices in line with WHS requirements Maintain a strong work ethic and contribute positively to team operations through clear communication and cooperation Support safety, quality, and productivity targets across the site Your Skills & Experience Current Forklift Licence (LF) Current Driver's Licence Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment Physically capable of manual tasks including lifting, bending, climbing, and working in varied environmental conditions Strong commitment to workplace safety and following procedures Benefits $32.04 per hour plus penalty rates Approx. 4 months' duration providing steady, short-term employment 38 hours per week offering consistent full-time hours Hands-on role within a well-established agricultural operation Support from Agri Labour Australia throughout your assignment Choose Agri Labour Australia Agri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory.
