The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of mechanical and diagnostic services on a variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform mechanical repairs on light vehicles Conduct diagnostic testing and fault-finding using modern diagnostic equipment Carry out repairs and replacements of vehicle components including brakes, suspension, steering, and engine systems Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to manufacturer specifications Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used Provide technical advice and support to customers and team members when required Uphold workshop cleanliness and safety standards Applicants must have: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification) At least 3 years of proven experience as an Automotive Technician, with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Sound knowledge of mechanical and electronic vehicle systems Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Valid Australian Open Driver's Licence (mandatory) Applicants will also need to have their own tools and have worked on most vehicle brands, including European brands.
